Jumping Jack Jeetendra, Tusshar Kapoor and Kulraj Randhawa on DID this week

When you have two legendary dancers of the yesteryears (Jeetendra and Mithun Chakraborty), three supremely talented choreographers (Remo D’Souza, Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis) and a bunch of India’s best dancers you will get a feeling that Diwali has come before Holi! And this is exactly what happened when ’Jumping Jack Jeetendra’ graced the sets of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance Seaon 3 along with his son Tusshar Kapoor and Kulraj Randhawa to promote their upcoming movie Chaar Din Ki Chandni.  Jeetu Ji was welcomed by the contestants of the show who had prepared a special medley of Jeetu Ji’s chartbusters. The theme of the episode was '90's Special Bollywood.'

An overwhelmed Terence said to Jeetu Ji, “Sir please don’t think this is scripted or I am exaggerating but I have been your biggest fan since my childhood days. I have even said this in DID season 2. When I was growing up, no shaadi or special occasion would be complete without me dancing on your songs. Till my 10th standard I have only worn white shoes.”

It was a sight to behold when Terence put on his white shoes and was joined by Jeetu Ji on stage who broke into an impromptu jig winning everybody’s heart in the process. Tusshar and Kulraj obliged Mithun Da’s request of shaking a leg on stage to the cult hit classic Rang Bhare Badal Mein, which features in their upcoming movie Chaar Din Ki Chaandni.

Raghav aka Crockroaz made Tusshar give his comments in his characteristic Golmaal style. The audience was in splits when Tusshar did so.

Jeetu Ji was spellbound after watching the contestants perform on stage. He said, “Brilliant is an understatement for these talented dancers as they start their journey on this stage after being excellent.” Pradeep Gurung gave Mithun Da and Jeetendra a traditional Asamese hat (Jaapi) and a shawl (gamosa) as a token of his reverence for the two dancing legends of Bollywood.

Watch out for the 90’s Special Bollywood episode on Sunday, March 11, at 2030 hrs on Zee TV.
